You can help shape Australia’s future by joining the Liberal Party.

Since its formation sixty years ago, the Liberal Party has stood for responsible economic management, the freedom of the individual, strong support for families and the community and help for those that need it most in our society.

Membership of the Liberal Party is open to all Australians who share the values of the Liberal Party and by becoming involved you have the capacity to discuss and influence local, state and national policies, work with Members of Parliament, and become involved in election campaigns and policy debates.

You can become a member by joining a local branch of the Liberal Party – in the North Sydney electorate there are 20 branches representing every suburb on the lower north shore.

As a member you can choose how actively involved you become – many join just to help during election campaigns and to show their support – others become more involved in their branches and at other levels of the Party – its entirely up to you.

For those aged between 16 and 30, membership of the Young Liberal Movement is also an option. Young Liberal branches are full participants in the affairs of the Liberal Party and have a program specifically for younger people.
